Hotel Black Car Service on St. Pete Beach
A barrier island served by one road and reached by causeway. Everything good about staying here — the Gulf at the door, the Don CeSar, Pass-a-Grille at the south end — comes with the same logistical fact, and planning around it is most of the job.
One road, two causeways, and a season.
St. Pete Beach runs along Gulf Boulevard from Pass-a-Grille in the south to the Corey Causeway in the north, reached principally by the Pinellas Bayway. In October a transfer to PIE takes 25 minutes. On a Saturday in February the same journey can take considerably longer, and nothing about the map tells you that.
So departures here are scheduled with margin rather than to the drive time, and the chauffeur is on the island before the pickup slot rather than crossing towards it. It is unglamorous and it is the difference between making a flight and not.
- Departures scheduled with causeway margin
- Chauffeur staged on-island before pickup
- PIE at roughly 25–30 min; TPA at 40–50
- Season and weekend traffic accounted for
The guests are the hard part, not the couple.
This beach hosts a great many weddings, and the pattern almost never changes: the couple takes rooms at the resort hosting the ceremony, and most guests book somewhere cheaper along the boulevard or back in St. Petersburg. Getting forty or eighty people to one stretch of sand at the same time, and home again afterwards, is the real work.
We run that as scheduled loops between the guest hotels and the venue rather than as individual bookings, with a lead car for the couple and a planned late return — which matters on an island where car availability after midnight is genuinely limited.
- Scheduled guest loops between hotels and venue
- Lead car for the couple
- Arrival waves across PIE and TPA
- Planned late returns after the reception
Some of this beach is still coming back.
Hurricanes Helene and Milton closed several properties here in 2024 and the recovery has been uneven. RumFish Beach at TradeWinds and Island Grand at TradeWinds have both reopened. The Postcard Inn did not — the site was rebuilt and reopened as The Luce in June 2026. Bellwether Beach Resort remains closed for restoration.
We list only properties we have confirmed as trading, and we dispatch to street addresses rather than hotel names, because a rebranded building and an out-of-date navigation database are a poor combination at eleven at night.
- Only confirmed-operating properties listed
- Dispatch by address, not by hotel name
- The Luce listed in place of the closed Bellwether
- Names re-checked before publication
Every St. Pete Beach hotel we run black car service to.
Each property has its own page covering airport transfers, hourly hire and the particular things that make arriving there different. If yours is not listed, we almost certainly still serve it — book through the standard flow and tell us the address.
Airports & the Fleet
Which airport, and what turns up.
Every transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV with a professional chauffeur, with the flight tracked against the landing that actually happened. Private arrivals are met inside the FBO rather than at a kerb.
Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for any hotel listed on this page.
