Black Car Service to RumFish Beach at TradeWinds

The first of the TradeWinds resorts to come back after the 2024 storms, and the more family-leaning of the pair — aquarium in the restaurant, beach out the front. Arrivals here skew towards parents with a lot of bags.

Family Arrivals

Four people, six bags and a pushchair.

RumFish is the family end of the TradeWinds pair, which shows up immediately in what arrives at the airport: two adults, two children, checked bags, beach kit and often a pushchair or a car seat. That is an SUV, not a sedan, and it is worth saying so at the point of booking rather than at the kerb.

We assign on the bag count and fit child seats when you tell us the ages in advance. It is a small thing that decides whether the first hour of a holiday is calm.

  • GMC Yukon SUV for up to six with luggage
  • Child seats arranged at time of booking
  • Loading time allowed at the terminal
  • Meet inside the terminal at baggage claim

02 / The Island, Without a Rental

Everything on Gulf Boulevard, plus the trips worth taking.

Most of a week here happens between the resort and the beach, with dinners along Gulf Boulevard and in Pass-a-Grille. A hire car for that spends the week in the resort car park.

What people actually want a car for is the airport at each end, dinner somewhere specific, and one or two day trips — the Dalí in St. Petersburg, Clearwater Beach, the Tampa aquarium. Booked as trips, those cost less than a week of rental and parking, and nobody drives home after dinner.

Day trips off the island

Downtown St. Petersburg is roughly 25–30 minutes; Clearwater Beach is further up the coast. We drop and collect at an agreed time, so there is no parking to find at either end.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every RumFish Beach at TradeWinds transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for RumFish Beach at TradeWinds.

FAQ

RumFish Beach at TradeWinds Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to RumFish Beach at TradeWinds?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from RumFish Beach at TradeWinds — PIE and TPA airport transfers, family travel with child seats, day trips off the island and evening dinner runs along Gulf Boulevard.
Can you fit child seats?
Yes, on request when you book. Give us the children's ages in advance and the seats are fitted before the car reaches the terminal — it is not something we can sort out at the kerb.
Will our luggage fit?
In the GMC Yukon SUV, yes — up to six passengers plus bags. A family of four with checked luggage, beach kit and a pushchair should book the SUV rather than the sedan; tell us the bag count at booking and we will assign correctly.
Do we need a hire car for a week here?
Often not. Most of a week on St. Pete Beach happens between the resort, the beach and Gulf Boulevard restaurants, and a rental spends it in the car park. Booking the airport runs plus a couple of day trips is frequently simpler and cheaper — and no one has to drive back from dinner.
How far is PIE from the resort?
Roughly 25 to 30 minutes in normal conditions; TPA is roughly 40 to 50. Both are approximations and both stretch in season, so we build margin into departure times.
