Port Canaveral is about 129–137 miles east of Tampa Bay — roughly a 2 hour 15 minute to 2 hour 45 minute drive via I-4 and the SR-528 Beachline, depending on Orlando traffic. From Tampa International it is closer to 2 hours 25 minutes. We build the pickup time around your boarding window so you arrive relaxed and on schedule.

Because the ship you want may not fit under the Sunshine Skyway Bridge. Disney Cruise Line sails only from Port Canaveral, and the largest Royal Caribbean ships (Star of the Seas, Utopia of the Seas) and Carnival Mardi Gras are all too tall for Port Tampa Bay. If you booked Disney or a mega-ship, Canaveral is your port — and this is your ride.

For a 2.5-hour cruise transfer, yes. A shared shuttle makes multiple stops and runs on its schedule; a route this long on Uber or Lyft is prone to sailing-day surge pricing and no guaranteed pickup. Yes. Most guests book round-trip — we drop you at the ship and collect you at the terminal when you disembark for the drive back to Tampa or the airport. We track the ship’s return so the pickup is there when you clear customs, no waiting in the Cape Canaveral heat.
