Black Car Service to Inn on the Beach, St. Pete Beach

Down at the quiet southern end of the island, where Gulf Boulevard narrows into Pass-a-Grille and the whole thing becomes a village. Lovely, and genuinely further from an airport than the map makes it look.

The South End

Past the Don CeSar, where the island gets narrow.

Pass-a-Grille is the historic southern tip of St. Pete Beach — a grid of small streets, a few excellent restaurants, the Shell Key ferry and almost none of the resort development further north. Inn on the Beach sits in it rather than beside it.

The trade-off is distance. Everything on the island is "on Gulf Boulevard", but the southern tip is a good ten minutes further from the causeway than the mid-island resorts, and the streets down here are small. We allow for both rather than treating it as the same trip.

  • Extra transit time allowed for the south end
  • Narrow-street pickups handled carefully
  • Shell Key ferry and Merry Pier runs
  • Restaurant drop-offs in the village

02 / Dinner, and Not Driving Back

The best reason to book a car on this island.

Pass-a-Grille's restaurants are the reason a lot of people come down here in the evening, including guests staying much further north. Parking in the village is limited and the drive back up the boulevard after a long dinner is nobody's idea of a holiday.

A dropped-and-collected evening solves both. Agree a rough collection time when you book, move it if the evening runs on, and the car is simply outside.

The Don CeSar is minutes away

The Pink Palace sits at the top of Pass-a-Grille, which makes dinner or a spa appointment there an easy run from the inn.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every Inn on the Beach transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for Inn on the Beach.

FAQ

Inn on the Beach Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to Inn on the Beach?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from Inn on the Beach at Pass-a-Grille — PIE and TPA airport transfers, restaurant and ferry runs, day trips off the island and evening collections.
How long is the transfer to Pass-a-Grille?
Roughly 30 minutes from PIE and around 45 to 55 from TPA in normal conditions. The southern tip is about ten minutes further from the causeway than the mid-island resorts, which is easy to underestimate — we allow for it rather than treating it as the same trip.
Can you collect us after dinner in the village?
Yes, and it is the most useful booking on this part of the island. Village parking is limited and the drive back up Gulf Boulevard after a long dinner is unappealing. Agree a rough time and move it if the evening runs on.
Can you take us to the Shell Key ferry?
Yes. The Merry Pier and the Shell Key ferry are a short run from the inn, and being dropped saves finding parking near the pier.
Are the streets a problem for a large vehicle?
They are narrow, which is why we handle pickups here carefully and will use the sedan where the SUV would be awkward. Tell us the luggage at booking and we will pick the vehicle that actually fits the street.
