Self-Catering on the Beach

Kitchens mean shopping, and shopping means a stop.

The whole point of a suite with a kitchen is not eating out twice a day for a week. That is a better holiday and it creates one logistical requirement the resorts do not: somebody has to get the groceries onto a barrier island.

We build that into the arrival. A supermarket stop between the airport and Gulf Boulevard adds maybe twenty-five minutes to the transfer and removes the entire problem, and the SUV has the boot space for a week's shopping alongside the luggage.

  • Supermarket stop on the airport run
  • GMC Yukon SUV for luggage plus shopping
  • Mid-stay top-up runs on request
  • Extra loading time allowed

02 / A Week Without a Rental

Two airport runs and a few trips usually beats seven days of hire.

Guests here are on the island for a week or more, and the honest question is whether a hire car earns its place. For most, it sits outside the suite for five of the seven days.

The alternative is to book the trips that matter: both airport legs, the provisioning stop, a dinner or two somewhere requiring a drive, and perhaps a day in St. Petersburg or Clearwater. Whether that comes out cheaper depends on your week — send us the plan through the booking flow and you will have real numbers rather than an assumption.

What a week actually needs

Airport in, shopping, two dinners, one day trip, airport out. That is the typical list — and it is a long way short of seven days of car hire.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every St. Pete Beach Suites transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for St. Pete Beach Suites.

FAQ

St. Pete Beach Suites Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to St. Pete Beach Suites?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from St. Pete Beach Suites on Gulf Boulevard — PIE and TPA airport transfers, provisioning stops on arrival, day trips off the island and evening collections.
Can you stop at a supermarket on the way from the airport?
Yes, and with kitchens in the suites it is the sensible way to do it. A stop between the airport and Gulf Boulevard adds roughly twenty-five minutes and the GMC Yukon SUV has room for a week's shopping alongside the luggage. Mention it when you book.
Is a chauffeur cheaper than hiring a car for a week?
It depends entirely on your week. Most guests here use a car for the two airport legs, a shop, a couple of dinners and maybe one day trip — which is well short of seven days of hire plus fuel. Put your actual plan through the booking flow and you will get real figures rather than a guess.
How far are the airports?
PIE is roughly 25 to 30 minutes and TPA roughly 40 to 50, both in normal conditions and both approximate. In season the Pinellas Bayway adds to them.
Can you do a mid-stay shopping run?
Yes. A top-up run partway through a longer stay is a straightforward point-to-point booking, out and back with the waiting time included.
