The island's Autograph Collection address, on the bay side of Holmes Beach with its own marina. It is the one Anna Maria property where guests routinely arrive by water as well as by road, and the two need coordinating differently.
Some guests arrive by boat. The car still has to be there.
Waterline sits on the Anna Maria Sound side of Holmes Beach rather than the Gulf side, with a marina attached. That produces a mix the rest of the island does not see: guests who drive in over the Manatee Avenue bridge, and guests who come in by boat and want a car waiting when they tie up.
A boat does not have a flight number and does not publish an ETA you can track, so we treat those as call-ahead pickups: tell the chauffeur when you are an hour out and the car is at the dock rather than circling the car park. Road arrivals are scheduled the normal way, off the flight.

SRQ, and the much longer run to Tampa.
Sarasota–Bradenton is the sensible airport at roughly 30 to 40 minutes, south over the Longboat chain or east over the bridge and down the mainland depending on the day. Tampa International is about an hour and a quarter and is where the cheaper long-haul fares land.
Both figures assume the bridges cooperate. Manatee Avenue and Cortez both open for boat traffic, and a span going up on a Saturday afternoon is the difference between a comfortable departure and a missed one. We build the margin in rather than discovering it.
Two of the three bridges onto this island are drawbridges. When one opens there is no alternative route that does not add twenty minutes, so departures are scheduled with that possibility already in them.
