Black Car Service to Anna Maria Island Inn

A small beachfront inn of the sort the island is built from — a handful of units, steps from the sand, and a guest list that mostly found it by recommendation rather than by search.

The North End

Anna Maria City, the pier, and a quieter island.

North of Holmes Beach the island narrows into Anna Maria City — Pine Avenue, the City Pier reaching out into Tampa Bay, and streets that feel closer to 1960 than to Gulf Boulevard. The inn sits within easy reach of it.

It is the part of the island people mean when they say Anna Maria has not been ruined, and it is also the part with the least parking. Being dropped at the pier or at Pine Avenue for dinner is genuinely easier than driving there and looking for a space.

  • Beach drops with an agreed collection

02 / Getting Here and Away

Three bridges, two of which open.

From SRQ the run is roughly 30 to 40 minutes and from TPA about an hour and a quarter. The last few miles are the unpredictable part: the Manatee Avenue and Cortez bridges both open for boat traffic, and when one does, everything behind it waits.

That is why departures here leave earlier than the distance suggests. It is a small thing that decides whether a holiday ends calmly or at a jog through the terminal.

The bridges, plainly

Manatee Avenue and Cortez are both drawbridges; Longboat Pass at the southern tip is a bascule too. There is no route onto this island that avoids all three.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every Anna Maria Island Inn transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for Anna Maria Island Inn.

FAQ

Anna Maria Island Inn Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to Anna Maria Island Inn?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from Anna Maria Island Inn — SRQ and TPA airport transfers, Anna Maria City Pier and Pine Avenue drops, beach collections and mainland trips.
How long is the transfer from the airports?
Roughly 30 to 40 minutes from SRQ and about an hour and a quarter from TPA in normal conditions. Both are approximations: the Manatee Avenue and Cortez bridges open for boat traffic and there is no quick way around one that is up.
What is at the north end of the island?
Anna Maria City — Pine Avenue, the City Pier out into Tampa Bay, and the quietest streets on the island. It also has the least parking, which is why most guests prefer being dropped there for dinner rather than driving.
Is there public transport on the island?
Yes, a free Manatee County trolley runs the length of Gulf Drive and covers the beaches and both ends of the island. It handles the day-to-day; a car is for the airport and the mainland.
Do you offer limousine service?
"Limo service" is how people search for it. What we operate is executive black car service — a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV with a professional chauffeur. We do not run stretch limousines.

Staying at the quiet end?

Let us take the bridges and the parking. Pine Avenue is much better arrived at than driven to.
