The transport that suits it is correspondingly small: one car, on time, driven by somebody who knows the property is a set of cottages rather than a lobby with a number. Pickups are call-ahead and kerbside, with bags taken from the cottage door.

Cottages on the sand attract anniversaries, elopements and very small weddings — a dozen people rather than a hundred. That is a different transport problem from a resort wedding: fewer vehicles, but every one of them matters, and there is no back-up car sitting in a resort car park.
We run those as a fixed schedule agreed in advance, including the leg nobody remembers to book — getting everyone back after dinner, on an island where a taxi at eleven at night is not a reliable assumption.
Late-night car availability on Anna Maria is genuinely thin. A reserved collection is a different proposition from opening an app at closing time.
