Guests here consequently book almost no local transport. What they do book is the airport at each end and the occasional run into Sarasota, and both of those are worth getting right precisely because nothing else in the stay needs a vehicle.

Thirteen suites means everyone is self-catering.
Every suite has a kitchen, which on a barrier island means somebody has to bring groceries across a bridge. The Village shops are convenient and small; the mainland supermarkets are neither.
A stop on the way in from the airport adds roughly twenty-five minutes and settles the week. The GMC Yukon has the space for a shop alongside the luggage; mention it at booking so the time is allowed.
It forms on the public beach near sunset most Sundays and draws a crowd. Worth knowing when you plan a Sunday evening departure from this end of the island.
