The Middle of the Island

Crescent Beach is the compromise most people actually want.

Crescent Beach runs south from the public beach towards Point of Rocks — same quartz sand, considerably fewer people, and none of the Village's evening noise. It is the stretch guests pick when they have stayed at the north end once and decided against it.

The trade-off is that the Village's restaurants are no longer a walk. That is a short trolley ride or a short car run, and on an evening out the car with a booked return is the better of the two.

  • Quiet beach access at the door
  • Village evenings with a booked return
  • Point of Rocks and Crescent Beach walks
  • Stickney Point bridge close for mainland runs

02 / Off the Island

Sarasota is closer than it feels.

Stickney Point Road is the nearer bridge from this part of the island, which puts downtown Sarasota, the Ringling and St. Armands Circle within a straightforward run — 20 to 30 minutes depending on which and on the bridge.

Those are the trips worth booking rather than driving: parking at St. Armands in season is genuinely competitive, and the Ringling makes a better half-day without a car to retrieve afterwards.

Point of Rocks

The limestone outcrop at the southern end of Crescent Beach, and the best snorkelling on this key. A walk from the door rather than a drive.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every The Capri at Siesta transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for The Capri at Siesta.

FAQ

The Capri at Siesta Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to The Capri at Siesta?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from The Capri at Siesta — SRQ and TPA airport transfers, Siesta Key Village evenings, downtown Sarasota and St. Armands day trips, and beach collections.
How far is Siesta Key Village?
Too far to walk comfortably from Crescent Beach, which is the trade-off for the quiet. It is a short trolley ride or a short car run — and for an evening out, a car with a booked return is the easier of the two.
How long is the airport transfer?
Roughly 20 to 25 minutes to SRQ and about an hour and a quarter to TPA. Stickney Point Road is the nearer bridge from here, and it is a drawbridge, so departures are scheduled with margin.
What is Point of Rocks?
A limestone outcrop at the southern end of Crescent Beach with the best snorkelling on the key. It is a walk along the sand from this part of the island rather than a drive.
Is it worth going into Sarasota?
Yes — downtown, the Ringling estate and St. Armands Circle are all 20 to 30 minutes away over the Stickney Point bridge. St. Armands parking in season is difficult enough that most guests prefer a drop and an agreed collection.
