Small Enough to Notice

No front desk at midnight, and no need for one.

Twin Palms runs at the scale most of Siesta Key actually is: a small number of refurbished units around a pool, with no lobby operation and no bell staff. That is the appeal, and it changes what a good pickup looks like.

The chauffeur calls or texts on arrival and waits rather than expecting anyone to be standing outside at a fixed minute. For an early flight that is the difference between a calm departure and standing in a car park in the dark.

  • Call-ahead pickup, no kerb waiting
  • Bags taken from the door
  • Early departures handled quietly
  • Same arrangement stored for repeat stays

02 / The Island Around It

Sunsets, the trolley, and one bridge decision.

The free Siesta Key Breeze trolley runs the length of the island and covers the beaches, the Village and most of what a week needs. Sunset on the Gulf side is the fixed point of most days here.

What it does not cover is either airport or the mainland. SRQ is roughly 20 to 25 minutes and TPA about an hour and a quarter, and which bridge we use depends on where on the key you are and whether Stickney Point is up.

The free trolley

Sarasota County runs the Siesta Key Breeze along the island at no charge. Between that and the beach, most guests use a car twice in a week.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every Twin Palms at Siesta transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

FAQ

Twin Palms at Siesta Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to Twin Palms at Siesta?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from Twin Palms at Siesta — SRQ and TPA airport transfers, Village evenings, beach collections and downtown Sarasota trips.
How does pickup work at a small property?
The chauffeur calls or texts on arrival and waits. There is no front desk to page you, so a fixed kerb slot would just mean standing outside — particularly unwelcome on a pre-dawn departure.
Is there public transport on the island?
Yes. Sarasota County runs the free Siesta Key Breeze trolley the length of the key, covering the beaches and the Village. It handles most of a week; the car is for the airport and the mainland.
How far is SRQ?
Roughly 20 to 25 minutes in normal conditions, with TPA at about an hour and a quarter. Which bridge we use depends on where you are on the key and whether the Stickney Point drawbridge is open.
We return every year — can you keep our arrangements?
Yes. We store the pattern, so a repeat booking is a date change rather than a fresh set of instructions.
