The Discharge Rule

Rideshare isn’t accepted — an arranged ride is.

Florida surgery centers and hospitals will not release a patient who received sedation or anesthesia to a taxi or rideshare on their own. They require a pre-arranged, responsible transport that is expected and named. That is exactly what we provide: a booked chauffeur, under your name, who your care team can note ahead of time as the arranged ride. Is this a medical transport service?
No — we are a luxury ground-transportation company, not a medical provider. We do not give medical care or advice. We are also not a Medicaid non-emergency medical transport, ambulette or wheelchair-van service; for those needs we refer you to a specialized medical-transport partner.
