Families often stay near the hospital for a while, and there are three Ronald McDonald Houses right on the campus along with nearby downtown hotels. We become the standing ride: lodging to the hospital in the morning, back in the evening, and errands in between — the same chauffeur where possible, so it’s a familiar face during a demanding time.
