The Short Stay

In on Tuesday, out on Thursday.

Sarasota's hotel stock skews towards resorts and long winter stays, so the two-night business visit ends up somewhere like this: central, efficient, and priced for a company rather than a holiday.

A short trip has no slack in it, which puts the weight on the airport legs. SRQ is close enough — roughly 10 to 15 minutes — that the outbound is easy. The inbound depends entirely on the flight being tracked properly, which it is.

  • Flight tracked to actual landing
  • Met inside the terminal at baggage claim
  • Hourly hire for a day of meetings
  • Corporate account for repeat visits

02 / Lakewood Ranch and the Business Corridor

Much of the work is east of town, not in it.

A lot of Sarasota business travel is not downtown at all — it is Lakewood Ranch, the corridor along University Parkway, or a site somewhere out towards I-75. Those are twenty to thirty minutes from the hotel and awkward to reach without a car.

For a day with several of those stops, hourly hire beats separate bookings: the car waits between meetings rather than being summoned each time, which on a corridor with limited options matters more than it does downtown.

Out to Lakewood Ranch

Roughly 20–30 minutes east depending on the address. On a multi-stop day, holding the car is simpler and usually cheaper than three separate trips.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every Aloft Sarasota transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

FAQ

Aloft Sarasota Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to Aloft Sarasota?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from Aloft Sarasota — SRQ airport transfers, the longer TPA run, business travel to Lakewood Ranch and the University Parkway corridor, and downtown evenings.
How far is SRQ?
Roughly 10 to 15 minutes in normal traffic. TPA is about an hour north, which is worth planning for if you took the cheaper Tampa fare.
Can I book a chauffeur by the hour for a day of meetings?
Yes, and on a day with several stops out towards Lakewood Ranch or University Parkway it is usually the better option. The car waits between meetings with your things in it rather than being summoned each time.
How long does it take to reach Lakewood Ranch?
Roughly 20 to 30 minutes east of downtown depending on the exact address. It is an approximation and the University Parkway corridor slows in the peak.
Can our company hold an account for repeat visits?
Yes. A corporate account attributes each trip to a traveller and cost centre and produces one reconciled monthly statement instead of individual expense claims for airport runs.
