Black Car Service to AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown

A compact European-styled business hotel in the downtown grid, with a rooftop that fills after work. Guests here are usually in town to do something specific and leave again — which is a travel pattern, not a holiday.

A Working Hotel

Two nights, three meetings, one flight home.

The AC sits in the downtown core within walking distance of Central Avenue, the waterfront and most of the offices that matter in St. Petersburg. It is built for the short business stay — smaller rooms, good desk, strong bar — and the travel pattern that goes with it is tight rather than leisurely.

That means the airport run is the part that has to be right. There is no slack in a two-night trip, so we track the inbound flight and hold the departure slot against the real schedule rather than the printed one, and the chauffeur meets you rather than messaging a plate number.

  • Flight tracked to actual landing
  • Meet inside the terminal, not at a rideshare bay
  • Hourly hire for a day of meetings
  • Same account for repeat visits

02 / The Rooftop and the Rest of the Bay

Central Avenue on foot; Tampa and the beaches by car.

Downtown St. Petersburg is small and good, and most of what a guest wants in the evening — Central Avenue, Beach Drive, the Pier — is walkable from the door. A car is for the things that are not: a client in Tampa, dinner in Hyde Park, a Sunday on Clearwater Beach.

Those are the trips we get asked for here, and they are all point-to-point rather than hourly. Book them as they come up; there is no reason to hold a car for a day you are mostly spending on foot.

Across the bay to Tampa

Downtown Tampa is roughly 30–35 minutes over the Howard Frankland in normal conditions, which makes a St. Petersburg base perfectly workable for meetings on the other side. Peak traffic adds to it.

The Car & the Chauffeur

A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.

Every AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.

  • Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
  • GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
  • Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
  • One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements

Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown.

FAQ

AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown Black Car Service — FAQ

Do you provide black car service to the AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown?
Yes. We run chauffeured black car transfers to and from the AC Hotel St. Petersburg Downtown — PIE and TPA airport transfers, meetings across Tampa Bay, evening reservations and hourly chauffeur hire.
Which airport should I use for this hotel?
PIE is closer at roughly 20 to 25 minutes and is worth using if your carrier serves it. TPA is roughly 30 to 40 minutes over the Howard Frankland but has far more connections. Both are approximate and we run transfers to either.
Can I book a chauffeur by the hour for a day of meetings?
Yes. Hourly hire keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle with you between stops, which is worth it on a day with several meetings on both sides of the bay. For a day spent mostly walking downtown, individual point-to-point trips usually cost less.
How long does it take to reach downtown Tampa?
Roughly 30 to 35 minutes over the Howard Frankland Bridge in normal traffic, longer in the peak. It is close enough that plenty of guests base themselves in St. Petersburg and work in Tampa.
Will the chauffeur meet me inside the airport?
Yes. Airport pickups are met inside the terminal at baggage claim, with the flight tracked so the timing follows the aircraft rather than the schedule. Private arrivals are met inside the FBO.
