Opal Sol opened in February 2026 on Coronado Drive, joining Opal Sands as the Opal Collection's second property on Clearwater Beach. At 248 suites with pools, a spa and several restaurants, it is a full-scale resort rather than a boutique, and it books groups accordingly.
Everything arriving here crosses the Clearwater Memorial Causeway, and so does everything leaving. On a Saturday in season that bridge is the whole journey. We schedule against it rather than around it — earlier departures, staged pickups, and a realistic figure rather than an optimistic one.
