The St. Pete Pier is a 26-acre downtown waterfront park where a family can spend a half-day or full day without a single ticket. Kids have the nautical-themed Glazer Family Playground and a splash pad; everyone else can walk, bike or just take in the view of Tampa Bay. Add a weekend Marketplace, a hands-on marine discovery center and a run of casual waterfront restaurants, and it works for any age group.
What to Expect
This is free, open public space, not a ticketed attraction — the Glazer Family Playground, the splash pad and the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center are all included, and the Marketplace runs Friday through Sunday.
