Sarasota Wedding Venues

The addresses we drive, from downtown to the islands.

Each Sarasota venue carries its own access, staging and drive time. We plan the route to the door — and for the hotels, you can open the dedicated car-service page. We drive to every venue below; naming one is never a claim of partnership.

The Ringling — Ca’ d’Zan

Bayfront Gilded-Age mansion and museum courtyards; long private drive off Bay Shore Road.

Marie Selby Botanical Gardens

Downtown bayfront gardens with tight staging — we stage on Palm Avenue and shuttle in.

Powel Crosley Estate

Mediterranean estate on Sarasota Bay, halfway to Bradenton; one gated entrance.

Sarasota Yacht Club

Members’ club on the north bayfront with valet-controlled arrivals near Ken Thompson Park.

Michael’s On East

Midtown fine-dining ballroom off South Osprey — an easy downtown-hotel loop.

Laurel Oak Country Club

Gated club east of I-75; longer drive times we build into the room-block schedule.

The Ritz-Carlton, Sarasota

Downtown bayfront hotel — a frequent room block and getting-ready base.

Bay, Bridges & Barrier Islands

Sarasota is a two-bridge town.

The downtown bayfront cluster — the Ritz-Carlton, Selby Gardens, the yacht club — sits minutes apart, but a Longboat Key resort means crossing the New Pass and Ringling bridges, and a St. Armands stop in between backs up fast in season. Laurel Oak sits the other way, east past I-75. We time every leg to the real drive, not the map estimate, so the ceremony call time holds.

  • Downtown bayfront cluster driven as one loop
  • Longboat Key timed around bridge and St. Armands traffic
  • Guest arrivals met at Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ)
Where guests stay

Most Sarasota couples block downtown or on Longboat Key. We anchor the shuttle loop to that hotel and run continuous service to the ceremony — a rule of thumb is one Sprinter or coach per forty to fifty guests on a rolling loop.

Our hotel venues

Estates, Arts & Clubs

Three kinds of Sarasota wedding.

Bayfront estates

The Ringling and Powel Crosley put a single gated drive between the road and the door — we stage the fleet off-site and feed vehicles in on cue so the entrance never jams.

Gardens & museums

Selby Gardens and the museum courtyards sit tight against downtown streets; we drop at the nearest legal curb and walk the party the short last stretch.

Yacht & country clubs

The Sarasota Yacht Club and Laurel Oak run their own valet and gate protocols — we brief drivers to each club’s house rules before the day.

Sarasota Wedding Venue Transportation — FAQ

Which Sarasota wedding venues do you drive to?
All of them — the bayfront estates and museums like The Ringling, Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and Powel Crosley Estate; the Sarasota Yacht Club, Laurel Oak Country Club and Michael’s On East; and the resort and hotel venues at the Ritz-Carlton, the St. Regis Longboat Key, the Longboat Key Club and Sarasota Modern. We plan the route and staging to each door individually.
How long is the drive from downtown Sarasota out to Longboat Key?
In light traffic it is roughly twenty to twenty-five minutes across the New Pass and Ringling bridges, but season and the St. Armands Circle bottleneck can double that on a Saturday afternoon. We schedule island ceremonies against the real, in-season drive time rather than a best-case estimate so your call times hold.
Can you run a guest shuttle between our downtown hotel and the ceremony?
Yes. We anchor a continuous loop to your room-block hotel — often the Ritz-Carlton downtown or a Longboat Key resort — and run Sprinters or a coach on a rolling schedule to the ceremony and back. A common ratio is one 14-passenger shuttle per forty to fifty guests, adjusted for the drive length.
Do you handle the gated and valet-controlled Sarasota venues?
We do. Powel Crosley and Laurel Oak have single gated entrances, and the yacht club runs its own valet; we stage the fleet off-site and feed vehicles in on cue, briefing every driver on that venue’s house rules before the day so arrivals stay orderly.
Where do out-of-town wedding guests fly into for a Sarasota wedding?
Most arrive at Sarasota-Bradenton (SRQ), a short run to downtown or the islands, while others come through Tampa (TPA). We meet guests at either — including private-jet arrivals at the FBOs — and carry them to the hotel or straight into a welcome event.
