Palihouse opened in Hyde Park Village in late 2023 — thirty-six rooms on Swann Avenue, the first hotel in a district that had always been shops, restaurants and bungalows. The Palisociety style is residential by design: it reads as a very good house rather than a lobby, and the arrival experience is scaled to match.
The practical consequence is that the streets around it are narrow, leafy and genuinely residential. We drive them accordingly — arriving quietly, not blocking a neighbour's driveway while we wait, and not sitting outside with the engine running at six in the morning.

Hyde Park is one of Tampa's favourite wedding neighbourhoods — the church, the Village restaurants and the surrounding estates all feed it — and a thirty-six-room hotel is exactly the size that ends up as the couple's block. That produces a specific kind of transport day: a lead car for the couple, a few vehicles for the immediate party, and guest runs from the airport and larger hotels nearby.
We run those from one desk so the timings hold together, and we keep the cars on the schedule rather than on the hotel forecourt, which a street this size cannot absorb.
South Tampa is one of the quickest parts of the city to reach from Tampa International — roughly 10 to 15 minutes in normal traffic, which is less than downtown. Still an approximation, and still scheduled against your real landing.
