A sky-bridge to the hall, and a kerb shared with everyone else.
The hotel connects directly to the Tampa Convention Center, which is the reason it fills during a show and the reason the street outside does too. When a large event is loading in, South Florida Avenue and the surrounding blocks carry delegate coaches, rideshare and delivery traffic at the same time.
We plan for that rather than hope around it. The chauffeur arrives ahead of the booking, and if the frontage is blocked you get a call naming a specific nearby pickup point rather than a vague instruction to come outside. Bags are carried from the door to the car.
- Chauffeur in position before the booking time
- A named alternative kerb when the frontage is full
- Riverwalk and Amalie Arena evening runs
- Early departures scheduled around load-out traffic
02 / Delegates Arrive in Waves
Fifty arrivals is a sequence, not fifty bookings.
Room blocks at a convention hotel land across two or three flight banks and usually leave inside one morning. Booked individually that produces a lobby full of people waiting for separate cars; booked as a programme it produces an ordered sequence against the attendee list.
We stage the airport waves to the flight times, put executive cars on the people who need them, and run departures in flight order so the block clears cleanly. One dispatch desk, one account, one invoice at the end of the event.
Events usually need a handful of arrivals handled differently from the main block — a keynote speaker, a sponsor, a board member. Those can run on the same account with a different vehicle standard and their own pickup instructions.
Corporate event transportationTPA one way, the cruise terminals the other.
Tampa International is roughly fifteen to twenty minutes west in normal traffic, with private arrivals met inside Signature or Sheltair. Port Tampa Bay sits a short run to the east, close enough that this works as a pre-cruise hotel as well as a convention one.
That combination is common here: a conference that ends on a Friday and a sailing that leaves on the Saturday. Both legs come off the same booking, with the flight or the sailing tracked.
- TPA commercial and FBO transfers
- Cruise terminal 2, 3 and 6 runs
- Conference-then-cruise itineraries on one booking
- Flight tracked to actual landing
The Car & the Chauffeur
A detailed sedan or SUV, and a chauffeur who waits.
Every Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center transfer runs in a Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan or a GMC Yukon SUV, cleaned before it leaves and driven by a chauffeur in coat and tie. Flights are tracked against the actual landing rather than the schedule, so a delay moves the pickup instead of costing you the car, and the driver meets you rather than texting a plate number from a garage.
- Mercedes-Benz E 350 sedan — up to 3 passengers
- GMC Yukon SUV — up to 6 passengers and luggage
- Flight tracked; wait time built into airport pickups
- One dispatch desk for multi-car and multi-day movements
Max Luxury Limo is an independent chauffeur company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a preferred provider for Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Downtown Convention Center.
